Validating an internal candidate
Our client, one of Canada’s big banks, was searching for a regional director for their small and mid-sized enterprise clients. They had an internal candidate in mind, but needed assurance that promoting internally was their best option. We assessed the market for talent and compensation structures, and what would be required to attract the right people. While we identified strong potential candidates through our process, the market research, however, validated that the internal candidate was the right choice. Our client felt confident promoting their internal employee knowing they had the right skillset and fit for the role, and that the process was fair and balanced.
