A leading global consumer packaged goods company was experiencing dramatic change: exponential growth, dramatic shifts in their industry and customer base, and the pending retirement of a senior leader from the business. The founder and CEO recognized he needed help to navigate through the present and coming changes, and his own role had changed. We interviewed key stakeholders to understand dynamics, challenges and opportunities, and worked with human resources to define and align functions and roles. Our client, with our guidance, created a new chief operating officer position. We set a search strategy, tapped into our network, and recruited a COO who aligned with our client’s values and culture.
