Suzanne is one of the few executive recruiters in Canada with experience on both sides of the non-profit and academic sectors. With her finger on the pulse of new and emerging trends and a nuanced understanding of both fields, Suzanne’s goal when working with each client is to find the best, most well-aligned talent, allowing an organization to reach its potential.
Suzanne’s experience includes recruiting and guiding Canada’s most talented researchers and educators in her role as Senior Acquisitions Editor at the world’s largest university press, as well as serving as Executive Director of a national children’s charity. A long-time advocate for community and education, Suzanne has held volunteer roles with various non-profit organizations, including the TO2015 PanAm/Para PanAm Games, the Canadian Poetry Press and the Ontario Nonprofit Network.
Suzanne holds a Bachelor’s degree with distinction in Linguistics & English and a Master’s degree in English from Western University. Suzanne has taught organizational business communication at Fanshawe College and has been a guest lecturer and speaker at Brock University, Western University and Ryerson University. When not uncovering the best talent, Suzanne enjoys writing on topics relevant to Canada’s academic and non-profit sectors and is active in Toronto’s triathlon and cycling communities.
