Suzanne oversees Four Corners Group’s non-profit and academic practice and is one of the few executive recruiters in Canada with extensive experience recruiting and building high performance teams on both sides of the non-profit and education sectors. With her finger on the pulse of new and emerging trends and a nuanced understanding of both fields, Suzanne’s goal when working with each client is to find the best, most well-aligned talent, allowing an organization to reach its potential. Suzanne’s executive search clients range from internationally-recognized academic institutions, to small local charities, to national associations and nonprofits with budgets of up to $1.2 billion.
Previously recognized as a top recruiter of Canada’s most talented college and university researchers and educators, in her role as Senior Acquisitions Editor at Oxford University Press, Suzanne raised the national profile of the press’ higher education publishing program across Canada. Her experience also includes serving as Executive Director of a national charity, DAREarts. A long-time advocate for community and education, Suzanne has held volunteer leadership roles with several national nonprofit organizations and is active in Toronto’s cycling and triathlon communities.
Suzanne holds a Bachelor’s degree with distinction in Linguistics & English and a Master’s degree in English from Western University. Suzanne previously taught business communication courses at Fanshawe College and has been a guest lecturer and speaker at Brock University, Western University, Ryerson University and at various association conferences.
